The terms of using FarmOps Desk.

We try to write these in plain language. If something is unclear, email hello@farmops.app and we'll explain — and probably rewrite the section.
1. The short version
You use FarmOps Desk to run your farm. We provide the service, you use it, and you keep your data. The AI drafts things — it never posts to your books without your tap. Money is sacred. We mean that.
2. Your account
You're responsible for the email, password, and people you invite. If something looks off, tell us. We'll help. We don't sell your data, and we don't train our models on your farm records.
3. The AI assistant
Our AI is a credit-metered assistant, grounded in your own records and a curated domain corpus. It can propose records, recommendations, and analyses. It cannot post a sale, expense, inventory change, or livestock movement without your explicit confirmation. This is enforced in the data layer, not the prompt.
4. Plans, credits, and refunds
Plans are billed monthly. Top-up credits never expire. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. We prorate the difference. If something is wrong, tell us — we refund. No "are you sure?" mazes.
5. Your data
Your farm records belong to you. We host them, secure them, and back them up. You can export them at any time as JSON. You can delete your account and we will hard-delete your data within 30 days, with a 7-day grace window for the soft delete.
6. Security
We use Vercel OIDC to authenticate to AWS — no static keys, no passwords in env files. Every write to money, inventory, and livestock is logged in an append-only audit table. We will notify you of any confirmed breach within 72 hours.
7. Multi-tenant isolation
We do not share data between farms. Every query, export, and AI retrieval is filtered by farm_id. If you find a cross-tenant leak, please tell us — we will treat it as a sev-1.
8. Service availability
We work to keep FarmOps Desk available and reliable, and we announce planned maintenance ahead of time where we can. Live status is linked from the footer of every page.
9. Acceptable use
Don't use FarmOps to break the law, attack other farms, or scrape the service. Don't reverse-engineer the embeddings pipeline. Don't resell credits. We trust you to use this for farming.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change the terms in a way that matters, we'll email you 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance. If you don't accept, you can export and cancel.
